THE ORGANIZATION 

SynergyAG was founded in 2016 and is an independently owned crop input retailer with seven locations serving Western Canada. We are a young, fast-paced, growing company focused on bringing agronomic solutions to Canadian agriculture. We have a full complement of sales and agronomy staff to serve our growers.   

 

THE OPPORTUNITY 

Reporting to the Location Manager, the Seasonal Location Operations helps SynergyAG’s customer base by assisting with various duties in our warehouse and around the yard to meet the unique needs of customers.   

Key Responsibilities: 

We are seeking a highly motivated Seasonal Operations Assistant to join our successful team for the upcoming season. This position is a four to five month term.

  • Ability to perform manual labor –lifting 50 lb. bags of crop inputs product 
  • Assist in treating seed and delivering chemical & seed 
  • Build and maintain relationships with location team members 
  • Support location by loading customer trucks, unloading delivery trucks & unloading bulk seed into our grain bins.  
  • As a team player, assist with any priority tasks in or around the yard, and with the location, as required. 

Knowledge and Skills 

  • Experience in operating a forklift 
  • Dependable, reliable and safety conscious 
  • Proficient with computers and technology, familiar with Microsoft 365 environment 
  • Ability to deliver results and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders through your strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Manage your own schedule and work independently in pursuit of team goals. 
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving record  

 

TYPE OF EMPLOY: 4-5 month term position
